Personnel
The neuromuscular research group is jointly run by Drs McLennan
and Koishi. The central aim of the group is to understand the role
of cell-to-cell communication in the maintenance and function of
the neuromuscular system. The group is committed to multi-disciplinary
interactive research program. Senior scientists in the group are
able to develop their own research interests whilst also pursuing
team goals.
Associate Professor Ian McLennan (Academic Post)
Director, Responsibility for Cell Biology/morphological techniques
Dr Kyoko Koishi (Full time research staff, funded by Marsden
Fund)
Senior scientist in charge of Molecular Biology. Kyoko is developing
her interest in the post-transcriptional control of gene expression,
with the aid of a grant from the Marsden Fund.
RESEARCH / POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW, funded by the Health Research
Council
Ms Jackie Wilson, Junior Research Fellow
0.5 EFT, or possible a full-time, technical position will be advertised
later this year.
